We appreciate your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below, we provide detailed information regarding the handling of your data. The processing of your data is carried out on the basis of the GDPR as well as in accordance with § 96 Para. 3 TKG.
1. Access Data and Hosting
You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server merely automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the retrieval, the volume of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the retrieval. These access data are evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site and improving our offer. In accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests. All access data will be erased no later than thirty days after the end of your visit to the site. All access data are only processed for as long as is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned processing purposes.
Hosting
The services for hosting and displaying the website are partly provided by our service providers as part of processing on our behalf. Unless otherwise explained in this privacy policy, all access data as well as all data collected in forms provided for this purpose on this website are processed on their servers. If you have any questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please use the contact option described in this privacy policy.
Our service providers are located and/or use servers in these countries: Türkiye. For these countries, there is no adequacy decision by the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council. Our cooperation with them is based on these guarantees: Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
2. Data Processing for Contract Performance and Contact
2.1 Data Processing for Contract Performance
For the purpose of contract performance (including inquiries about and handling of any existing claims arising from warranty rights, performance disruptions, and the right of withdrawal, as well as any statutory update obligations) pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order. Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we imperatively require the data for contract performance and cannot dispatch the order without providing them. The specific data collected can be seen from the respective input forms.
Further information on the processing of your data, in particular on disclosure to our service providers for the purpose of order, payment, and dispatch processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy. After full execution of the contract, your data will be restricted for further processing and erased upon expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to a broader data use that is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.
Enterprise Resource Planning System
For order and contract processing, we use enterprise resource planning systems provided by external service providers. Our service providers act on our behalf within the framework of data processing on order. If you have any questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact us using the option described in this privacy policy.
Data Transfer for Age Verification
If your order includes goods whose sale is subject to age restrictions, we ensure through the use of a reliable procedure involving personal identity and age verification that the purchaser has reached the required minimum age. For this purpose, the SCHUFA IdentitätsCheck is used on our website. This service is operated by SCHUFA Holding AG, Kormoranweg 5, 65201 Wiesbaden, Germany (hereinafter: SCHUFA). To ensure the required minimum age, individual personal data (e.g., name, address, and date of birth) are transmitted to SCHUFA Holding AG in this context. A so-called identity check with Q-Bit is then carried out, which has been positively evaluated by the Commission for the Protection of Minors in the Media (KJM) for age verification. The transmission of data to SCHUFA serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in ensuring an offer that complies with youth protection legislation and complying with statutory provisions on youth protection in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR within the framework of a balancing of interests. A credit check does not take place in this respect.

Insofar as you have given your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR by choosing to open a customer account, we use your data for the purpose of opening the customer account and storing your data for future orders on our website. Deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described in this privacy policy or via a dedicated function in the customer account. Following deletion of your customer account, your data will be erased, provided you have not expressly consented to further use of your data pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to a broader data use that is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.
2.3 Contacting Us
In the context of customer communication, we collect personal data to process your inquiries in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. b GDPR when you voluntarily provide it to us when contacting us (e.g., via contact form, live chat tool, or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we imperatively require the data to process your contact inquiry. The specific data collected can be seen from the respective input forms. After your inquiry has been fully processed, your data will be erased, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to a broader data use that is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

checkout process. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.
Depending on the selected payment method, data transfers to third countries outside the EU/EEA may occur for which the European Commission has determined an adequate level of data protection by decision. Insofar as a data transfer takes place to third countries outside the EU/EEA for which the
European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision, the cooperation is based on Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.

Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your terminal device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your terminal device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). The storage duration can be found in the overview within the cookie settings of your web browser.
Protection of Privacy for Terminal Devices to provide the digital service explicitly requested by you. The storage of information in your terminal device or access to information that is already stored in your terminal device does not require consent in this respect.
For functions that are not strictly necessary, the storage of information in your terminal device or access to information already stored in your terminal device requires your consent. We advise you that if consent is not granted, parts of the website may not be fully usable. Any consent you may have granted remains valid until you adjust or reset the respective settings in your terminal device.
Subsequent Data Processing via Cookies and Other Technologies
We use technologies that are strictly necessary for the use of certain functions of our website. Through these technologies, your IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website, are collected and processed. Within the framework of a balancing of interests, this serves our prevailing legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
In addition, we use technologies to fulfill legal obligations to which we are subject (e.g. to be able to prove consent to the processing of your personal data) as well as for web analytics and online marketing. Further information on this, including the respective legal basis for data processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy. Where applicable, we also use technologies that are not individually listed in this privacy policy. Further information on these technologies, including the respective legal basis for data processing, can be found on the Usercentrics platform. You can access this by clicking on the fingerprint button in the bottom right or left corner of the page.
Which Types of Cookies Are Used?
Cookie Settings
The cookie settings for your browser can be found under the following links:
Microsoft Edge™ / Safari™ / Chrome™ / Firefox™ / Opera™
If you have consented to the use of technologies pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, you can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the contact option described in the privacy policy. Alternatively, you can click on the fingerprint button in the lower right or left corner of the page. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
6.2 Use of Usercentrics Consent Management Platform to Manage Consents
On our website, we use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform ("Usercentrics") to inform you about the cookies and other technologies we use on our website, as well as to obtain, manage, and document your legally required consent to the processing of your personal data by these technologies. Pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, this is necessary to fulfill our legal obligation under Art. 7 Para. 1 GDPR to be able to demonstrate your consent to the processing of your personal data, to which we are subject. Usercentrics is an offer provided by Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany, which processes your data on our behalf. When visiting our website, Usercentrics' web server stores a so-called server log file, which also contains your anonymized IP address, date and time of visit, device and browser information, and information on your consent behavior. Your data will be deleted after three years, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to a broader data use that is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.
Our service providers are located and/or use servers in the following countries, for which the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council have established an adequate level of data protection by decision: USA.
The adequacy decisions for the USA serve as the basis for third-country transfers provided the respective service provider is certified. Certification is present.
6.3 Information on Third-Country Transfers (Data Transfer to Third Countries)
We deploy technologies from service providers on our website whose registered offices and/or server locations may be in third countries outside the EU or EEA. If no adequacy decision by the EU Commission exists for such a country, an adequate level of data protection must be ensured by means of other appropriate safeguards.
Appropriate safeguards in the form of contractually agreed Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission or Binding Corporate Rules are generally possible, but require a prior assessment by the contracting parties as to whether an adequate level of protection can be guaranteed. According to ECJ case law, it may be necessary to take additional protective measures in this regard.
In principle, we have agreed the Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the EU Commission with the technology providers we use who process personal data in a third country. Where possible, we also agree on additional guarantees to ensure that an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed in third countries without an adequacy decision.
Regardless of this, despite all contractual and technical measures, it may occur that the level of data protection in the third country does not correspond to that of the EU. For these cases, if necessary, we ask for your consent in accordance with Art. 49 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR for the transfer of your personal data to a third country as part of the cookie consent process. In particular, there is a risk that local authorities of the third country may obtain access rights to your personal data that are not sufficiently restricted from a European data protection perspective, that we as the data exporter or you as the data subject may not become aware of this, and/or that you may not have sufficient legal remedies available to prevent this and/or take action against such access.
In particular, the following countries are currently considered third countries without an adequacy decision by the EU Commission (example list):
- China
- Russia
- Taiwan
You can find out to which third countries data is transferred by us in the data protection notices for the respective tool used and/or from our consent management platform (CMP).
7. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies
We use the following cookies and other third-party technologies on our website. Unless otherwise stated for individual technologies, this is done on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. Once the purpose no longer applies and we end the use of the respective technology, the data collected in this context will be deleted. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Further information on your options for revocation can be found in the section "Cookies and Other Technologies". Further information, including the basis of our cooperation with individual providers, can be found under the respective technologies. If you have questions about the providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact us using the option described in this privacy policy.
7.1 Use of Google Services
We use the technologies described below from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Information automatically collected by Google technologies regarding your use of our website is generally transmitted to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and stored there. Unless otherwise specified for individual technologies, data processing is carried out based on an agreement concluded between joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's Privacy Policy.
Our service providers are located and/or use servers in countries outside Switzerland, the EU, and the EEA for which the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council have determined an adequate level of data protection by decision.
Our service providers are located and/or use servers in countries outside Switzerland, the EU, and the EEA. For these countries, there is no adequacy decision by the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council. Our cooperation with them is based on Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
Google Analytics
For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website), from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. If you visit our website from the EU, your IP address is stored on a server located in the EU to derive location data and is then immediately deleted before the traffic is forwarded to other Google servers for processing. Data processing takes place on the basis of an order processing agreement with Google.
For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we have enabled the data sharing settings for "Google products and services". This allows Google to access data collected and processed by Google Analytics and subsequently use it to improve Google services. Data sharing with Google under these settings takes place on the basis of an additional agreement between joint controllers. We have no influence on subsequent data processing by Google.
For the purpose of optimized marketing of our website, we use the so-called User ID feature. With the help of this feature, we can assign your interaction data from one or more sessions across our online touchpoints to a unique, permanent ID, allowing us to analyze your user behavior across devices and sessions.
For web analysis, the extension function of Google Analytics Google Signals enables so-called "cross-device tracking". Insofar as your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google Account and you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google Account, Google can generate reports on your user behavior (in particular cross-device user numbers), even if you switch your end device. Processing of personal data by us does not take place in this respect; we merely receive statistics generated on the basis of Google Signals.
Google Ads
For advertising purposes in Google search results as well as on third-party websites, the so-called Google Remarketing cookie is set when visiting our website. It automatically enables interest-based advertising through the collection and processing of data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID based on the pages you visit. Further data processing takes place only if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google Account. If you are logged into Google during your visit to our website in this case, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing.
For website analysis and event tracking, we measure your subsequent user behavior via Google Ads Conversion Tracking if you reached our website via a Google Ads advertisement. Cookies may be used for this purpose, and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website based on events specified by us such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected, from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms.
Google Maps
For the visual representation of geographical information, Google Maps collects data about your use of Maps functions, in particular your IP address and location data, transmits it to Google, and it is subsequently processed by Google. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.
Google reCAPTCHA
For the purpose of protection against misuse of our web forms and spam by automated software (so-called bots), Google reCAPTCHA collects data (IP address, time of visit, browser information, and information about your use of our website) and carries out an analysis of your use of our website using a so-called JavaScript and cookies. In addition, other cookies stored in your browser by Google services are evaluated. Reading or saving personal data from the input fields of the respective form does not take place.
Google Fonts
For the uniform presentation of content on our website, the script code "Google Fonts" collects data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information), transmits it to Google, and it is subsequently processed by Google. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.
Google Tag Manager
Through Google Tag Manager, we can manage various codes and services on our website. When implementing individual tags, Google may under certain circumstances also process personal data (e.g. IP address, online identifiers (including cookies)). Data processing is carried out based on an agreement on data processing on behalf of Google.
By using Google Tag Manager, integration of various services/technologies can be achieved.
If you do not wish to use individual tracking services and have therefore deactivated them, the deactivation remains effective for all affected tracking tags integrated by Google Tag Manager.
YouTube Video Plugin
To integrate third-party content, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected via the YouTube Video Plugin using the extended data protection mode we deploy, transmitted to Google, and subsequently processed by Google only when you play a video.
7.2 Use of Microsoft Services
We use the technologies described below from Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland ("Microsoft"). Data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR. Information automatically collected by Microsoft technologies about your use of our website is generally transmitted to a server of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA, and stored there. Further information on data processing by Microsoft can be found in Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
Our service providers are located and/or use servers in countries outside Switzerland, the EU, and the EEA for which the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council have determined an adequate level of data protection by decision.

Our cooperation with them is based on Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
Microsoft Advertising
For advertising purposes in Bing, Yahoo, and MSN search results as well as on third-party websites, the so-called Microsoft Advertising Remarketing cookie is set when visiting our website, enabling interest-based advertising through automatic collection and processing of data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information on your use of our website) and by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID based on the pages visited by you.
For website analysis and event tracking, we measure your subsequent user behavior via Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) if you reached our website via a Microsoft Advertising ad. Cookies may be used for this purpose, and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information on your use of our website based on events specified by us such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected, from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. Insofar as your internet-enabled devices are linked to your Microsoft account and you have not deactivated the "Interest-based ads" setting in your Microsoft account, Microsoft can generate reports on user behavior (in particular cross-device user numbers), even if you switch your end device (so-called "cross-device tracking"). Processing of personal data does not take place by us in this respect; we merely receive statistics generated on the basis of Microsoft UET.
7.3 Use of Facebook Services
Use of Facebook Pixel
We use the Facebook Pixel within the scope of the technologies presented below provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Block J, Serpentine Avenue, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Facebook (by Meta)" or "Meta Platforms Ireland"). With the Facebook Pixel, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website based on events defined by us such as visiting a website or newsletter registration) are automatically collected and stored, from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. In the context of the so-called advanced matching, hashed information for matching purposes with which individuals can be identified (e.g., names, email addresses, and phone numbers) is additionally collected and stored. For this purpose, when you visit our website, a cookie is automatically set by the Facebook Pixel, which automatically enables recognition of your browser when visiting other websites by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID. Facebook (by Meta) will combine this information with other data from your Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activities and to provide other services associated with website usage, in particular personalized and group-based advertising.
The information automatically collected by Facebook (by Meta) technologies about your use of our website is generally transmitted to a server of Meta Platforms, Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, and stored there. Further information on data processing by Facebook can be found in Facebook's (by Meta) Privacy Policy.
Our service providers are located and/or use servers in the following countries, for which the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council have established an adequate level of data protection by decision: USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Argentina.
The adequacy decisions for the USA serve as the basis for third-country transfers provided the respective service provider is certified. Certification is present.
Our service providers are located and/or use servers in these countries: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Brazil, Mexico. For these countries, there is no adequacy decision by the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Council. Our cooperation with them is based on these guarantees: Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
Facebook Analytics
Within the scope of Facebook Business Tools, statistics on visitor activities on our website are created from data collected using the Facebook Pixel regarding your use of our website. Data processing is carried out based on an agreement on data processing on behalf of Facebook (by Meta). Your analysis serves the optimal presentation and marketing of our website.
Facebook Ads (Ads Manager)
Via Facebook Ads, we advertise this website on Facebook (by Meta) as well as on other platforms. We determine the parameters of the respective advertising campaign. For the exact implementation, in particular the decision on the placement of ads for individual users, Facebook (by Meta) is responsible. Unless otherwise specified for individual technologies, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR. The joint responsibility is limited to the collection of data and its transmission to Meta Platforms Ireland. The subsequent data processing by Meta Platforms Ireland is not covered by this.
On the basis of statistics created via Facebook Pixel regarding visitor activities on our website, we operate group-based advertising on Facebook (by Meta) via Facebook Custom Audience by determining the characteristics of the respective target group. In the context of the advanced matching used to determine the respective target group (see above), Facebook (by Meta) acts as our processor.
On the basis of the pseudonymous cookie ID set by Facebook Pixel and the collected data on your usage behavior on our website, we operate personalized advertising via Facebook Pixel Remarketing.
Via Facebook Pixel Conversions, we measure your subsequent user behavior for web analysis and event tracking if you reached our website via an advertisement from Facebook Ads. Data processing is carried out based on an agreement on data processing on behalf of Facebook (by Meta).

8. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge/ Other Widgets
Trusted Shops widgets are integrated on this website to display Trusted Shops services (e.g. seal of approval, collected reviews) and to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order.
Pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, this serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in optimal marketing by enabling safe shopping within the framework of a balancing of interests. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are offered by Trusted Shops SE, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne ("Trusted Shops"), with whom we are jointly responsible under data protection law pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR. Below, we inform you about the essential contractual content pursuant to Art. 26 Para. 2 GDPR within the scope of these data protection notices.
Within the framework of joint responsibility existing between us and Trusted Shops SE, please preferably contact Trusted Shops for data protection questions and to assert your rights using the contact options specified in their Privacy Policy. Regardless of this, you can always contact the controller of your choice. Your inquiry will then, if necessary, be passed on to the other controller for a response.
8.1 Data Processing when Integrating the Trustbadge/ Other Widgets
The Trustbadge is provided by a US Content Delivery Network (CDN) provider. An adequate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the EU Commission (available here) or the Swiss Federal Council (available here). Service providers used from the USA are generally certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (together "DPF"). Further information can be obtained here. Insofar as service providers used are not certified under the DPF, Standard Contractual Clauses have been concluded as appropriate safeguards.
When calling up the Trustbadge, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which also contains your IP address, date and time of retrieval, transferred data volume, and requesting provider (access data), documenting the retrieval. The IP address is anonymized immediately after collection so that stored data cannot be assigned to your person. Anonymized data is used in particular for statistical purposes and error analysis.
8.2 Data Processing After Order Completion
If you have given your consent, the Trustbadge accesses order information (order total, order number, purchased product if applicable) stored in your terminal device as well as your email address after order completion, and your email address is hashed using a cryptographic one-way function. The hash value is then transmitted to Trusted Shops together with the order information in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.
This serves to check whether you are already registered for services from Trusted Shops. If this is the case, further processing takes place in accordance with the contractual agreement made between you and Trusted Shops. If you are not yet registered for the services or do not grant consent to automatic recognition via the Trustbadge, you will subsequently be given the opportunity to manually register for the use of the services or complete protection under your existing user agreement, if applicable.
For this purpose, after completing your order, the Trustbadge accesses the following information stored in the terminal device used by you: order total, order number, and email address. This is necessary so that we can offer you buyer protection. Transmission of data to Trusted Shops occurs only when you actively decide to complete buyer protection by clicking the corresponding button in the so-called Trustcard. If you choose to use the services, further processing is governed by the contractual agreement with Trusted Shops pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, in order to complete your registration for buyer protection and secure the order, as well as to send you review invitations by email afterwards, if applicable.
Trusted Shops uses service providers in the areas of hosting, monitoring, and logging. Legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation. In this context, processing in third countries (USA and Israel) may take place. An adequate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the EU Commission, available for the USA here and for Israel here. Service providers used from the USA are generally certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Further information can be obtained here. Insofar as service providers used are not certified under the DPF, Standard Contractual Clauses have been concluded as an appropriate guarantee.
Notwithstanding the previous paragraph, the following applies to personal data concerning Switzerland: Until the adoption of the Swiss adequacy decision for the USA, data transfers continue to rely on Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
